Bulletin Board BU Womens Guild sponsors talk on Election 2000 The presidential campaign is the subject of a noontime talk on Wednesday, October 25, by Boston Globe columnist and political reporter Joan Vennochi (COM75). BU women faculty and staff, along with their guests (of either gender) are invited to this informal reception and discussion, sponsored by the Womens Guild. Founded in 1956, the guild has evolved with the changing interests and time constraints of women in the University community, focusing on activities of interest to members. Each year it awards scholarships to women graduate students age 30 and over and sponsors an endowed short story competition. Throughout the year, both public and members-only guild events are scheduled. For location of the talk and further information about guild membership,
call Mary Keane-Hazzard at 358-INFO.
