SAR's Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation graduated its first class from the certificate program in psychiatric vocational rehabilitation on April 14. Participant Barbara Blau (right), was one of 14 students who graduated from the one-year, part-time training program for practicing vocational professionals. The emcee at the ceremony was Deborah Nicolellis (center), the center's assistant project director. At left is Maria Restrepo-Toro, the center's training associate. The program, for those who want to become skilled in fully engaging people with psychiatric disabilities in vocational services, was made available through a long-term training grant funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration.
