Apply for Admission

www.bu.edu/apply

Of BU's record-setting 28,041 applicants for next year's freshman class, 18 percent used electronic applications, compared to 11 percent last year. And that percentage is likely to grow, especially since a new Web page contains links to undergraduate, international, and graduate admissions departments and features online application forms.

Visitors can reach this new page through www.bu.edu/apply, through the Admissions button on the BU home page, through the Admissions link on 16 second-level pages, or through additional routes that other BU Web providers add to their own pages. There are several ways to apply electronically to BU, including the BU Web Application System (www.snapweb.com/ugrad/bostonu/). The application can also be requested on CD-ROM or downloaded right from the Internet.

The new Web page should also address concerns that international and graduate admissions were difficult to find -- now it's all a mouse click away. The College of Communication graduate admissions Web site, for example, also contains a financial aid application. For a dynamic graphic alone, check out the School of Theology graduate application site. It has a color photo of St. Catherine of Siena in stained glass -- from a window at the school.

Applications to any school at BU, electronic or paper, are treated with confidentiality.
