Josh Loving presented at the 8th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BICoB) in Las Vegas earlier this month, and his paper received the award for first place. Bit-Parallel Alignment with Substitution Scoring was co-authored by Beth Becker and Prof. Gary Benson. Congratulations!
