Nishmin Kashyap, Executive Director of BU Housing, joined Boston University in 2011, bringing with her extensive experience from previous roles at Boston College, New York University, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. With over 29 years of expertise in Student Affairs and Housing, Nishmin has led the successful implementation of StarRez and is currently leading initiatives to modernize dining, card access, and mailroom systems away from the legacy mainframe system. Proudly, Nishmin holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and a Master’s degree in Hotel Restaurant and Travel Administration. In her current role at BU, Nishmin oversees a comprehensive portfolio including Undergraduate and Graduate Housing, Residence Services, Residential Mail, and the technological infrastructure supporting housing operations, such as StarRez, CCURE, CS Gold, SC Logic, etc., along with The Terrier Card Office.
