With the TerrierGPT rollout, we’ve ensured that the BU community has democratized access to generative AI for learning, research, and creative problem-solving. BU faculty, staff, and students have access to the platform with their Kerberos log-in.
TerrierGPT is designed to support AI literacy, exploration, and innovation in a secure, responsible environment. Kerberos log-in required.
TerrierGPT complies with BU’s internal privacy and data protection policies—and none of the data entered is used to train external models.
Data uploaded to the platform is only accessible by IS&T personnel and has the same strong privacy protections applicable to all BU enterprise data, such as emails and documents stored on BU’s OneDrive.
It's still important to be mindful of the data you enter, as the platform is approved for data classified as confidential, but not restricted use.
