Graduate Prerequisites: MSDT students only - When constructing digital artifacts, either for internal or external consumption, creating a coherent and well-motivated design is essential. This class will explore the language and key principles of design and how these impact the user experience. Students will be asked to critique existing designs and offer alternatives. Additionally, we will cover the programming topic of object orientation, and study both it and the structures it enables from a design perspective.
