This cocurricular experience is designed to help students take charge of their own health care while developing skills in self-advocacy and information literacy. Students will investigate their various interactions with the health care system, including appointments, insurance, rights, and many more, through personal reflections, in-class simulations, and a semester-long research project. Effective Fall 2025, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU HUB areas: Research and Information Literacy.
