This course examines pedagogical approaches in world language teaching and learning. Students explore standards-based instructional methods, models of assessment, discuss underlying theories, and examine current issues in the field. Students develop lesson and unit plans, as well as assessment materials. Effective Fall 2021, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Digital/Multimedia Expression, Oral and/or Signed Communication, Teamwork/Collaboration.
