This course will introduce students to the field of statistical genetics and its applications. This course will focus on the development of professional knowledge and skills for effective practice in statistical genetics. Students will gain experience by actively participating in bi-weekly seminar on emerging research topics, recognizing and interpreting statistical approaches and results and evaluating the currently available approaches. This course may be taken more than once for credit.
