This course has a two-year curriculum for the second and third year residents. In one year, it addresses all the decisions one might make when going into private practice and becoming a business owner as well as an employer: where to practice, hiring and managing staff, standard operating procedures, marketing and social media, inventory and work flow, use of technology, and communications. The other year includes discussions of pertinent readings in the fields of leadership, business and patient management, dentistry, and orthodontics.
