This course will help you to prepare for success in university level classes in the social sciences (e.g., anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, international relations, gender studies and economics), with a focus on improving your reading and speaking skills. Course activities and materials will include academic readings, primary source texts, discussions, presentations, test-taking practice, and the use of audio and video in the areas of student interest.
