Second semester junior research including the use of research literature and active participation at group meetings. Application through the BMB Program. Students conduct research under supervision of a faculty mentor. Attendance with oral presentations at group meetings required. Two-credit research does not carry major or minor credit in BMB. Pre-requisites: Major GPA of at least 3.0, and Junior standing, and BB 340 or BB 350 or UROP or 4 credits of First-Year (BB 140/141) or Sophomore (BB 240/241) Research. Effective Fall 2020, this course fulfills a single unit in the following BU Hub area: Oral and/or Signed Communication.
