GMS PS 870: PA Profession Course
This course prepares the PA student for professional clinical practice. Concepts taught include but are not limited to advanced clinical reasoning, billing and coding, health care reform as it relates to the delivery of primary care and how to apply for and successfully garner employment as a PA and hospital credentialing. The course meets at the end of each clinical rotation after the student has completed their end-of-rotation exam so it is 14 months in length. The course utilizes traditional lectures, case-based discussions and patient presentations for instruction. 2 cr. -
