Focus on theory and practice of language education and emphasizes development of perspectives and skills for entering the teaching profession as an engaged educator and advocate. Examines contemporary language pedagogy and critical perspectives. Course is limited to teacher candidates who are in the process of doing their student teaching practicum in English as a second language (ESL) or Modern Foreign Language (MFL) education. 2 cr.
