This course takes several of the key concepts introduced in MET AD 617: Business Continuity Management and applies them in more detail mainly to the corporate-private sector environment. A primary objectives of the course is to provide students with an "insider's look" at how the three fundamental components (incident management, technology recovery and business resilience) of a Business Continuity Program are organized and executed. It examines the infrastructure and processes necessary for organizations to effectively respond to and manage incidents, up to and including disasters. This includes how companies transition from emergency response and incident management to business recovery and resumption. Prereq: MET AD617
