Open to all Music majors, required for Music Education majors. Within a computer laboratory setting, students will obtain essential skills in technologies to support music careers. Topics will include basic computer notation, audio recording and editing, MIDI recording and editing, media-rich web development, document design, self-promotion and responsible uses of social media. Students will also explore technologically enhanced and supported performance. Open to the BU Community. 2 credits.
