Prereq: CFA TH 687; A continuation of CFA TH 687. Meets with CFA TH 288. An overview of theatrical sound design, focusing on the process of creating a design. The emphasis is on sound cue creation, establishing mood, emotion and environment with sound, and critical listening. Covers the basics of the tools and technology used to implement a professional sound design. 3.0 credits. Spring semester.
