Prereq: CFA TH 182, advisor recommendation, or consent of instructor. An in depth study of pattern making for the female silhouette. Draping and flat patterning techniques are augmented with historical research in pattern development. The student develops a thorough understanding of the form and function of each element of the female costume. 3.0 credits. Fall semester.
