Prereq: 200-yard swim test and 10 minute float. Course includes all pool and academic training to become scuba certified. Pool equipment is provided. Lab fee: $50. Additional fees due to instructor: $85 for books. Open water dives, necessary to become certified, will be offered by instructor for $275. Purchase or rental of personal gear, wetsuit, mask, and fins is required for open water dives. If students choose to do their open water dive elsewhere, a $45 referral certificate must be purchased.
