Minor in Physics

A minor in Physics is a great way to supplement any science major or simply support a student who would like a well-rounded background. Many math and engineering students decide to enhance their majors with a minor in Physics.

Principal Courses

A total of five 4-credit courses are required for completion of the minor:

• CAS PY 251 & PY 252 or PY 211 & PY 212
• CAS PY 351 (or PY 313)
• Two courses chosen from CAS PY 355, PY 405, PY 406, PY 408, PY 410, PY 451, or PY 452

A minimum grade of C in each course must be earned.
