Required of students who wish to apply for standard certification as teachers of students with moderate disabilities. Integrates content area knowledge and pedagogical theory and practice. Involves responsibilities beyond the individual classroom which may include opportunities such as grade-level teamwork, curriculum development, and assessment projects.
