Prereq: must be at least 16 years old and have intermediate-level swimming skills. This instructor-training course includes teaching techniques for the progressive swimming courses, Community Water Safety, and the Infant and Preschool Aquatic Program. Students who pass a written exam and practical skills test receive certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
