An introduction to the theory and practice of leadership skills required for success as a leader in small units and organizations. Discusses techniques of teaching, coaching, and counseling; verbal and nonverbal communications skills; and decision making. Provides an assessment of student leadership potential. One class period and one two-hour lab weekly.
