Professor Wright is an internationally known professor, author, speaker, researcher, advisor, and corporate communications consultant. In addition to teaching, conducting scholarly and applied research, and lecturing in 28 countries on five continents, he has worked full-time in corporate, agency, and university public relations, and has been a corporate communications consultant for three decades. He also has been a daily newspaper reporter, weekly newspaper editor, and a broadcast journalist. Dr. Wright has taught public relations and communications for more than 30 years including faculty appointments at the University of Texas (Austin) and the University of Georgia. In 2000, PR Week magazine ranked him as one of the Top 10 public relations educators in the United States.
