Prereq: CFA DR 221, 222. Creating and sustaining characters and action in elevated and poetic texts from major periods of theatre history. Emphasis on organic interrelation of acting, speech, and movement. Actor explores deeply the demands made by form and content of each script. 3 cr. each semester.
