Prereq: CFA DR 161 & 162 or consent of instructor. An in-depth study of pattern making for the female silhouette. Draping and flat patterning techniques are augmented with historical research in pattern development. The student develops a thorough understanding of the form and function of each element of the female costume. 3 cr.
