On Wednesday, March 14, Boston University students hosted a rally against gun violence on Marsh Plaza. That same day, thousands of American young people hosted a simultaneous rally on the steps of Capitol Hill and a “March for Our Lives.” Even more students around the country hosted walk-outs and spread the hashtag #Enough. Will the rise of young voices finally translate into legislative change on guns? Should this be a legislative endeavor? How do we respect gun owners and gun culture while advocating for additional safety measures? Is it wrong to feel cynical? These and other questions will be addressed, and we hope you’ll join us. |
