The Boston University Creative Writing Program, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the country, offers students the opportunity to complete the MFA degree in fiction or poetry in one year (two to three semesters) through a rigorous combination of creative writing workshops and literature courses. Class sizes are small– ten fiction writers and eight to ten poets per year– and all admitted students for 2017-18 will receive full tuition coverage and a stipend (most requiring teaching).  In addition, each will receive a Global Fellowship allowing for travel, writing, and study anywhere outside the United States upon completion of degree requirements. Please click to read about the BU MFA Program in the “Best of the Best” guide to graduate programs in Creative Writing.
