Support & Resources

There is far more to the CELOP experience than just English classes. Explore these other services and resources available to students at CELOP and BU.

Student Life: Learn about all the fun and exciting things you can do outside of class.

Academic Advising: As a CELOP student, you will have access to many resources and support services, both within CELOP itself and throughout the University system. One resource for you at CELOP is the Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor can help you to apply for admission to U.S. colleges and universities.

Immigration Advising: U.S. immigration rules for international students can be confusing, even for native English speakers! CELOP has a dedicated Foreign Student Advisor/Designated School Official (DSO) who helps with the required paperwork for students’ F-1 visa interviews. CELOP’s Foreign Student Advisor/DSO also advises students about their immigration status, assists with transfers to and from CELOP, and works closely with BU’s International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO) for students conditionally admitted to Boston University.

Housing and Dining: Where to live and eat on campus.

Technology Support: Learn about CELOP’s computer language labs and the Technology Office, where you can get help in the labs or with your personal computer, tablet, or phone.
