After a gap year, The Boston University Questrom School of Business once again is teaming up with our lead sponsor, Merck, to host the 4th Annual Grand Business Challenge in Digital Health, March 23-25, 2017. 

The Grand Business Challenge in Digital Health invites participants to weave together different strands of ideas with a call to action in the health sector to create significant value for the world. Participants learn from industry leaders from Merck and the healthcare industry about exciting developments from all over the world.  Participation in the 2017 competition was by invitation only.

Teams of full-time graduate students from leading business schools from all over the country are invited to Boston University for a two-day challenge to showcase their ideas on how information technology could influence and transform global healthcare to create value for the world.  Teams have the opportunity to contribute insights, refine their ideas through collaboration with fellow students and industry leaders, shape digital health globally, and cultivate professional relationships.

Grand Business Challenge Prizes

Four teams will be selected to compete in the final presentation round on Saturday, March 25th.  The final 4 teams will be awarded cash prizes as follows (all prize amounts are in USD):

1st Place – $25,000

2nd Place – $15,000

3rd Place – $10,000

4th Place – $7,500  

Teams not selected to compete in the final round also had an opportunity to win prize money in the “Second Day Challenge”!
