Summer in the village: Last summer’s demolition of the Commonwealth
Armory to make way for construction of the Student Village, leaving a
cleared site of dirt, rubble, and construction equipment to greet returning
students, has been transformed into a recognizable complex of girders,
framing, and concrete walls that will become a premier sports and entertainment
