Farewell to the grande dame of gastronomy: Julia Child was honored at the BU Seminars in the Culinary Arts Boston Bash, held on Thursday, October 4, at the 808 Showroom. Kevin Long (left), executive chef of Tosca restaurant in Hingham, Mass., was one of 50 restaurateurs and vintners who participated in the event for Child, who is moving to her native California in November.
