In Memory
Sue Kim Hanson (GRS'92), a Boston University doctoral candidate in the School of Medicine's Division of Graduate Medical Sciences and a medical research student, her husband, Peter (GSM'94), vice president of sales for Waltham-based Time Trade, and their two-year-old daughter, Christine, residents of Groton, Mass., were remembered at a memorial service on September 17 at Marsh Chapel. The Hansons were three of the passengers on United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston to Los Angeles, which was hijacked and flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11. They were on a vacation, with planned visits to Disneyland and Sue's family. Donations for a tree to be planted in their honor in Groton can be sent to the Friends of the Trees, P.O. Box 800, Groton, MA 01450. For more information, call Bonnie Biocchi, Groton town clerk, at 978-448-1100. |
