Boston University Commencement 2021 Time-lapse

Watch the setup, celebration, and breakdown of Boston University's historic 148th Commencement for [...]the Class of 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic and the need for social distancing, there were two separate ceremonies, one for advanced degree graduates in the morning, one for graduating seniors in the afternoon. Among many distinguished speakers, Noubar Afeyan, the cofounder and chairman of Moderna, Inc., addressed the members of the Class of 2021 gathered on Nickerson Field for the advanced degree ceremony, and US Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) delivered the Commencement speech to the graduating seniors on the same field a few hours later.
