She earned her Bachelors\u2019 degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Paris East in 2016, where she worked on the synthesis and characterization of triarylbrismuth complexes as cross-coupling catalysts, under the direction of Dr. Christophe Pichon. L\u00e9a then went on the pursue a Masters\u2019 degree at the University of Paris Descartes, during which she worked on the synthesis of Iridium half sandwich metal complexes as PET recycling catalysts as a visiting intern in Prof. Mike Heinekey\u2019s lab at the University of Washington, and later on, on the synthesis and characterization and formulation of inkjet printable Au NPs ink while interning at ITODYS in Paris Univerit\u00e9 Diderot under Prof. Jean-Yves Piquemal\u2019s supervision. When she\u2019s not in the lab, L\u00e9a enjoys reading fiction outside on a sunny day or going on walks with both her dog and fianc\u00e9.
