Lippard\u2019s laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She then joined Professor Malcolm Green\u2019s group as a NATO Postdoctoral fellow in 1997 and continued as a Junior Research fellow through August 1999. Linda started her independent work at Barnard College in New York City as an Assistant Professor in 1999. In 2006, she joined the Department of Chemistry at Boston University. Linda was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and to Professor in 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2002, Professor Doerrer received the Emily Gregory Award for Excellence in Teaching and Service, an award that honors outstanding faculty members for excellence in teaching and devotion and service to the students. In 2013, Professor Doerrer received a Fulbright Scholar Award, leading her to a nine-month stay at the Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin (TUB) with Professor Matthias Driess.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Linda Doerrer received her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Professor Stephen J.
