Shawn is a 6th year Ph.D. candidate from Lockport NY. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from SUNY Geneseo in 2018 where he worked on the synthesis and characterization of organic gelators under the direction of Cristina Geiger. Shawn’s current research focuses on the chemistry of Mn and Ti in all O-donor environments. When he’s not in lab, Shawn enjoys playing video games, working out, and exploring Boston with his wife.
