Alaina Minarik

 

Alaina is an undergraduate student from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, earning a B.A. in chemistry with a minor in cinema studies. In the Doerrer group, she synthesizes heterobimetallic lantern complexes and is working on developing a class of lanterns containing lanthanide-lanthanide bonds. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, painting portraits, and analyzing films, particularly Italian and revisionist Westerns.
