I stumbled upon the events in Boyd County and found that they provided a lively story that coincided with many of the legal issues affecting gay high school students. In writing the paper, I drew some inspiration from articles in legal journals, while maintaining a temporal narrative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYLER GUARNERI<\/strong> is part of the College of Engineering\u2019s class of 2014. He is studying biomedical engineering. He was raised in beautiful Beacon, New York.
