Ben Suitt is a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Division of Religious Studies specializing in Social Ethics in the Religion and Society track. His current research interests include moral responsibility in war, moral injury, just war theory, and the intersection of religious identity and moral thought. Along with other humanistic interests, he wishes to investigate the narrative created by the United States’ involvement in violent conflict and how it shapes contemporary Christian ethics with regard to participation in war, conscientious objection, and pacifism.
