WPnet-Sample-Attendance-Accomodation

This image is a screenshot of a student attendance agreement form provided from D&A Services, filled out by an instructor in Spring 2024 with the names redacted. The policy states that attendance is fundamental to the course, however: "Attendance is a core requirement of our course and cannot be altered. However, and I met to discuss the course objectives and the ways that she can stay on track with the class if she needs to miss occasional class sessions. can follow up with me over email or in office hours, review our slides and in-class materials, complete any in-class writing exercises or workshops outside of class on her own time. Additional ways to make up class attendance include: completing an additional experiential learning activity and reflection, bringing a resource to share to a subsequent class, giving a mini in-class report on an experiential learning activity, or working with a classmate to do an extra workshop outside of class time. As long as is proactive about communicating with me about her needs, I'm confident that this will help her meet the attendance and participation expectations for this class while also ensuring that she can miss some class sessions as needed."
