Woundbiotech: Uncommon Wounds

This elderly woman was in very severe, intractable pain. A biopsy showed a medium sized vessel vasculitis, consistent with polyarteritis nodosa. Treatment with cyclosporine was followed by very dramatic resolution of the pain and healing of the ulcers.
