This lunch hour was open to all students and offered students of both native languages the opportunity to practice their language skills with other students by conversing freely with one another. The October 5th CELOP lunch included an info session with a representative from the Consulate General of Japan in Boston, where she discussed the JET Program, (Japan Exchange Teaching Program). The two BU representatives, Edward Lui (LJ303 sec. A1) and Nadine Chen (LJ441) presented their wonderful speeches and everyone from other 8 colleges in Boston area loved their presentations. Edward&#8217;s title is\u300cLost in <span>\u65e5\u672c\u8a9e\u306e\u30af\u30e9\u30b9\u301c\u3042\u3042\u3001\u6065\u305a\u304b\u3057\u3044\uff01\u300d<\/span>He presented his embarrassing experience in Japanese class in very funny way. All Japanese language students from 111 to 400-level students got together during their class hours at Terrace Lounge in GSU.\u00a0 Representatives from each section presented their works and students learned about our program\/courses, study abroad, alumni&#8217;s career paths, and job opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wll\/files\/2018\/12\/Japan-Day.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/wll\/files\/2018\/12\/Japan-Day-636x477.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\" wp-image-12535 aligncenter\" width=\"470\" height=\"353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/wll\/files\/2018\/12\/Japan-Day-636x477.jpg 636w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/wll\/files\/2018\/12\/Japan-Day-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/wll\/files\/2018\/12\/Japan-Day-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>October 26 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Haunted School! The Japanese Student Association (JSA) hosted an event that was as equally haunted as it was entertaining and educational. Students had to navigate their way through a haunted school, complete necessary tasks and make it out without any troubles.
