Headed by the Russian FLTA, Sasha, students explored subjects such as traditional Russian holidays, folktales, cuisine, and music. Students were also given the opportunity to have detailed conversations with students studying at Moscow university. See below for more information on highlights from the Russian events!<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 27 &#8211;<\/strong> The Russian Club met at the BU Global House Lounge for an evening devoted to learning about customs in Russia. They discussed the main Russian holidays that are significant to the Russian people such as New Year, Defenders of the Motherland day, International Women\u2019s day and the Victory day! A popular conversation topic for the students was learning about student life in Russia beyond the stereotypes; BU students were encouraged to come to the call with questions prepared for the Moscow students.
