MFA in Literary Translation<\/h1>\n

Housed in World Languages & Literatures, Boston University\u2019s MFA program in Literary Translation draws on faculty expertise from all humanities departments at BU. Each fall and early spring we accept applications for the following September\u2019s incoming class.<\/p>\n

Translation Seminar<\/h4>
<\/p>\n

Boston University has a long tradition of translation that dates back nearly forty years. Since 1981, the BU Translation Seminar<\/a> has been offered every spring, featuring lectures by prominent literary translators. Translation classes and workshops are also offered in Arabic, Chinese, French, <\/span>German, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, <\/span>and <\/span>Spanish<\/span>. The University sponsors\u00a0<\/span>annual translation prizes and a\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0considerable number of <\/span>BU faculty<\/span> practice translation themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n
