Amber Navarre has received a major award: the Gerald and Dean Gitner Award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology. Congratulations to Amber. And congratulations to the Chinese program!

The BU today piece has the details. It also mentions Liling Huang, Jungsoo Kim, and Gisela Hoecherl-Alden,  and has great quotes from WLL students in Chinese.

As Amber brilliantly states in her interview, “Language teachers teach language, we don’t teach technology,” she says. “So we should use free technology and easy technology. We don’t have to be computer geeks, but we can embrace what technology brings us.”

Congratulations again, Amber!
