Additionally, she is a graduate research fellow at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu-ceed.org\/\">Center on the Ecology of Early Development<\/a> (CEED), supporting the Playful Learning Institute Project, Multnomah Preschool for All Project, Planting CEEDs of Joy &amp; Peace Initiative, and Language &amp; Literacy for Liberation Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole is a certified 200-hour, trauma-informed yoga teacher and social-emotional learning facilitator through Breathe for Change. Her research interests are in examining how mindfulness practices can support the language, literacy, and social-emotional development of early childhood experiencing marginalization. Furthermore, she aims to delineate how mindfulness practices may foster a more positive classroom climate and build educator well-being. In order to be grounded in specific cultural and linguistic environments, she has a strong interest in using design-based research methodologies by offering mindfulness practices as a resource and building the interventions with and for the community.<\/p>\n<p>As a student at Suffolk University, Nicole was a member of the Ronald E.
