Ruchi Mendiratta Khanna is a doctoral student at Boston University\u2019s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development and a member of Project TEAMS, where she contributes to research that advances equity in student mental health and well-being in schools.<\/p>\n
Ruchi has over a decade of experience as a special education teacher and behavior analyst supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in inclusive school settings. Her professional and scholarly work focuses on culturally responsive social-emotional learning and school practices that support students from historically marginalized communities.<\/p>\n
In addition to her academic work, Ruchi collaborates with community organizations and school districts on research and advocacy initiatives that support families of children with disabilities and multilingual learners. Her community-engaged work centers on strengthening partnerships between schools and families, building caregiver advocacy and leadership, and developing culturally responsive approaches to student and family well-being.<\/p>\n
