Dr. Jay Halfond, professor of the practice teaching at Metropolitan College and Wheelock and Faculty Advisor for BU Wheelock’s online Higher Education Master’s program, shares the seventh in a series of conversations with experts in the field of higher education. His guest for this seventh installment is BU School of Law’s Associate Dean of Student Affairs Geraldine Muir.
In this conversation, Dean Muir shares how her interest in Higher Education led her to pursue her law degree so that she would best be able to interpret higher education law within the lens of someone who is engrained in and understands the on-campus experience. Furthermore, she explains the marriage of student affairs and law within her role at BU’s School of Law. Finally, Associate Dean Muir explains what she thinks makes BU unique.
